Playful Japanese-Inspired Branding in the Heart of Albania
The thought process behind the branding for the new matcha shop in Albania was to create a vibrant and immersive identity that captures the playful spirit of Japanese culture while introducing something fresh and unique to the local scene.
We drew inspiration from traditional Japanese illustration styles—bold line work, whimsical characters, and organic forms—infused with a bright, modern color palette to reflect the energy and creativity of the brand.

The design approach for the matcha coffee shop centered around creating a bold, colorful visual identity that feels both culturally rooted and contemporary.
We combined hand-drawn Japanese-inspired illustrations with vibrant, energetic colors to evoke the freshness and creativity of the matcha experience.
From the logo to packaging and signage, every touchpoint was designed to feel like a cheerful visual journey, inviting customers into a world where design and flavor meet.









The branding we created for this new matcha shop is more than just a visual identity; it’s an experience that blends the rich cultural heritage of Japan with the energy and vibrancy of Albania.
By fusing playful illustrations, bold colors, and thoughtful design, we’ve helped craft a space that not only serves delicious matcha but also transports customers to a world of creative expression and flavor.
This project is a perfect example of how design can bridge cultures, inspire curiosity, and create lasting connections between a brand and its community.

Add 1–2 scoops of matcha using a bamboo chashaku (or about 1 teaspoon) to your bowl.

Pour in 60–80 ml of hot water (about 80°C – not boiling).

Whisk briskly in a zigzag motion (like an “M” or “W”) until a fine froth forms.

Enjoy immediately, smooth, vibrant, and full of matcha goodness!
